Summary of Duties:

Coordinates and tracks clinical care as well as the personal concerns and needs of the Sisters. The Unit Coordinator will provide rounding assistance to the Seton Residence physician to ensure quality nursing care for each individual Sister as set forth by the philosophy, objectives, and policies of Seton Residence. Coordinates the daily activities of the Nursing Department while working in staffing one day a week and as needed. Provides consistent coverage at the St. Joseph nursing station, ensuring phone calls and call bells are answered in an acceptable amount of time. Ensures consistent staffing by covering nursing schedule openings. Uses tact and judgement in dealing with varying situations. Works to support and facilitate the DON and nursing success.
