Groundskeeper - Full Time - Evansville

The Daughters of Charity Ministries is currently seeking a Groundskeeper to join our team.

The Groundskeeper provides complete lawn care service for a large intricately landscaped area. Mows and trims grass. Plants, trims, and maintains flower beds, shrubs, and trees. Performs routine maintenance and minor adjustments to vehicles and equipment.

The Daughters of Charity Ministries Evansville Campus is home to Seton Residence, the home to 65 retired Catholic Sisters. We are located on the West Side of Evansville just down the road from University of Southern Indiana and provide three levels of nursing care -independent, assisted, and skilled. SUMMARY OF POSITION

Two years of lawn care, landscaping, tree and shrub care experience is preferred.

Valid Indiana Driver's License.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

1. Must be able to endure at least eight hours continuous work requiring physical demands including but not limited to standing, walking, climbing, stooping, bending, stretching, pushing, pulling and lifting.

1. Must be able to work outdoors at least 80% of an eight-hour work day, as weather permits.

1. Must know how to operate and care for equipment, know how to measure insecticides and fertilizing solutions, and be alert to hazards.

1. All job duties are expected to be completed in accordance with the mission and values of the Daughters of Charity.
