Education: Ability to follow oral and written instructions required.
Certification- Licensure: Valid Driver's License in good standing.
Classification: 1.0 FTE
Schedule: 7:00 a.m. to 3:30pm – Monday-Friday and every 9th Saturday.
Experience: Experience in a storeroom or shipping/receiving area is required. Industrial or institutional cleaning experience highly preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
1.Must be able to endure at least four to eight hours continuous work requiring physical demands including but not limited to standing, walking, climbing, stooping, bending, stretching, pushing, pulling, lifting and carrying.
2. Must know how to operate and care for equipment and appliances, know how to measure solutions, and be alert to hazards.
3. Must have strong organizational skills.
4. All job duties are expected to be completed in accordance with the mission and values of the Daughters of Charity.
Summary of Duties:
Manage the shipping/receiving and storeroom operations; i.e., the purchasing, storing, dispensing and transporting of supplies to and from various areas on and off the premises. Perform cleaning and other related tasks (using equipment and supplies provided according to the prescribed techniques and procedures) to assure all areas appear neat and clean, and to prevent spreading of infectious diseases or other contaminations.
