The Daughters of Charity is a congregate living facility for the retired Sisters of The Daughters of Charity. We are located in a wonderful parklike setting with off street parking. We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to fill a full time position on our 3rd Shift.

Responsibilities

The LPN will assist in the planning and delivery of nursing care to our Sister residents. They will oversee the care provided by the Nurse Assistants, administer medications and treatments as well as advocating for the Sisters well being. Other responsibilities may include:

• Assisting in the provision of the individualized, goal directed nursing care, utilizing the nursing process in collaboration with the Charge Nurse, the Director of Nursing and any other member of the team.
• Assisting in the orientation, instruction and supervision of staff as per the direction of the Daughters of Charity.
• Assisting in maintaining a clean and safe environment for Sisters and staff.
• Have the ability to react to change in a positive manner.
• Participating in team efforts to achieve departmental and community goals.
• Demonstrating leadership skills by showing others by example and sharing of knowledge.
