The Daughters of Charity Ministries is a retirement community for the Daughters of Charity. We are located in a wonderful, parklike setting near Albany, NY. Vehicle parking is onsite. We provide 3 levels of care, independent, assisted and memory care. We currently have an exciting opportunity for a full time Life Enrichment Director.

The Life Enrichment Director plans, develops, organizes, implements, evaluates and directs a holistic approach to activities, life enrichment and resident engagement. This position will assess the various programs and make changes/evaluations to assist in providing our Sisters with the best possible options that will enhance their lives. The successful candidate will exhibit resourcefulness and initiative in anticipating and meeting the needs of our Sisters, co-workers and the Activity Assistants in a pro-active manner. They should encourage others to perform in the same way.

This position is responsible for planning transportation for events. (may need to accompany residents). The individual will develop the Volunteer program and develop and implement activity care plans and Sister assessments. It will support, uphold and maintain the mission of the Daughters of Charity in a positive manner. It will respect and safeguard confidential information of the Sisters.

This individual will work collaboratively with other departments to meet the goals of Life Enrichment and assist other departments in meeting theirs. This position is responsible for the departmental budget, ordering of supplies and materials etc.
