We have a full time opening for a Maintenance Assistant at our Albany, NY location. The Maintenance Assistant assists in organizing and performing a variety of functions related to the optimum operation of all buildings and properties.

Responsibilities include:

• maintaining the preventive maintenance schedule for all aspects o f the buildings and equipment
• assisting in monitoring the operation of the HVAC system, electrical, plumbing and maintaining the related equipment; may perform repairs to such equipment
• performing various carpentry and painting work
• having a strong background in landscape maintenance including lawn mowing, gardening and shrubbery/tree maintenance. This is to provide a carefully manicured appearance to all outdoor areas
• the ability to operate and maintain all mowers, weed eaters, leaf blowers and other common tools
• sharing responsibilities of on call with the Director of Facilities
• maintaining professional discretion and confidentiality
• having an ability to react positively and productively to change
• participating in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals
• must have a clean, valid NYS driver's license
